If your tracking script shows Not receiving data in Settings > Company > Website Tracker, Leadfeeder can't identify the companies visiting your site. Work through the causes below to fix it.
Cause 1: Your hostname rules don't match your website
The alert links to your tracking script settings and traffic rules. Check that the hostnames listed match the websites you want to track. See The Leadfeeder traffic rules explained.
Cause 2: The status hasn't updated yet
The status can show Installed before it has updated. To confirm the script is on your site, follow How to check the Leadfeeder tracking script is working.
Cause 3: The tracking script was removed from your site
Leadfeeder has no access to your website's code, so we can't add, change or remove the script. If the script has disappeared, something changed on your site.
Two common causes:
Someone on your team removed the script because they didn't recognize it.
A site update overwrote the script. For example, someone updated your header and didn't copy the script into the new code.
Ask your team about recent changes to your site, and check who can add or remove scripts. Then reinstall the tracking script.
