An identified company is a unique company from a specific location that has visited the website/s you track within your Web Visitors account during the month.
If the same company, at the same location, makes multiple visits in that month, each visit will be displayed on the company information panel. Each of these visits does not result in a new revealed company.
However, one company name may appear multiple times in Web Visitors if their employees work from multiple company locations. We separate by company location to make sure you know which locations/offices to contact. By doing so, we make sure the information we are providing is as accurate as possible.
How identified companies relate to your plan
Each plan includes a monthly limit of identified companies:
Plan | Monthly company limit |
Lite | Up to 100 (last 7 days only) |
Discover | Up to 1,000 |
Activate | Up to 4,000 |
Scale | Up to 10,000 |
Once you reach your monthly limit, additional visiting companies will not appear in your feed until the next billing period. You can upgrade your plan or contact us at any time if you need a higher limit.
Does identifying a company use credits?
No. Identifying a company visiting your website is included in your plan and does not consume credits.
Credits are only used when you take enrichment or activation actions. For a full breakdown of credit usage, see How Are Credits Spent?
