Web Visitors shows you which companies visit your website, so your team can reach out to the ones already looking at what you sell. Work through the steps below in order. Each step links to a detailed guide.
Start identifying visitors
Install the tracking script. Add the script to your website yourself, or send it to a developer. Leadfeeder starts identifying visiting companies within minutes. See Installing the Web Visitors Tracking Script.
Set up your ICP. Describe your ideal customer, and Leadfeeder shows you which visiting companies fit it best. See Introducing ICP Insights in Web Visitors.
Nice start. Once the script is in, companies start showing up in your feed. Nothing showing after a few hours? See Why Isn't the Web Visitors Tracking Script Working?
Focus on the companies that matter
Open a company profile. Click any company in your feed to see its firmographics, contacts and the pages it visited. See How to use the Company Profile in Leadfeeder.
Create a custom feed. Filter your visitors by the pages they viewed, their country, their industry and more. When you log in, you go straight to your best leads. You can also subscribe to a feed and get new matches by email each day or week. See Introduction to Custom Feeds and How to Create and Edit a Custom Feed.
Follow companies you want to watch. Leadfeeder emails you when a followed company comes back to your website and adds it to your Followed Companies feed. Use it to keep an eye on existing customers or to mark a company for follow-up.
Note: Only you see the companies you follow. Your colleagues follow their own.
Hide companies that don't interest you. A hidden company disappears for everyone on your account.
Customize your intent score. Use goals to choose which page visits count as high intent, and the most engaged companies move to the top. See What is the Intent Score in Leadfeeder? and The Goals Feature in Web Visitors.
Act on your leads
Invite a team member. Users are unlimited, so add the colleagues who follow up on leads. Click your profile icon at the top right and choose Invite new users. You need User Management rights to invite users. See Add a New Leadfeeder User.
Connect your CRM. Send companies to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho or Microsoft Dynamics 365. No compatible CRM? Use Zapier. See Integrate your CRM with Leadfeeder.
Find contact details. Start with people you know: check the company's employees on LinkedIn for shared connections. If you find none, look for the decision maker in the company profile and reveal their email address or phone number. Each reveal uses credits. See Contact Data.
Save companies to a list, or export a feed. Keep your best accounts in a list to score and enrich them, or download a feed as a CSV. See Using the Lists Tool and How Do I Export a Custom Feed?
Need ideas for your first message? Read How to use web visitor intent data in your outreach and How to write B2B email templates that aren't creepy.
Automate the follow-up
Send new leads to your CRM automatically. Add a CRM automation to a custom feed, and Leadfeeder sends each new matching company for you. See Send Identified Companies to Your CRM with Automation.
Automate with a Workflow. Set rules that act when a company meets your criteria: add it to a list, send it to your CRM or notify your team. See Introduction to Workflows and Automatically Send Contacts to Your CRM Using Workflows.
Integrate Slack or Teams. Get a message in your team's channel when a high-intent company visits. See Integrate Slack with Leadfeeder or Integrate Microsoft Teams with Leadfeeder.
Integrate your ad accounts. Connect Google Ads to see which campaigns bring companies to your site, or LinkedIn Ads to turn your lists into ad audiences. See Google Ads Integration with Web Visitors and Connect LinkedIn to Leadfeeder.
You're done when…
Your tracking script is installed, a custom feed shows your best-fit visitors, and new leads reach your team or your CRM. Nice work, Web Visitors is set up.
