How to prioritise high-intent customers with Lists in Target

High-intent customers actively show they’re ready to engage or make a purchase—whether it's by visiting your pricing page or exploring specific product features. By targeting these prospects, your chances of conversion soar, as they’ve already demonstrated a keen interest in your product.

With the combined power of Web Visitors and Target, you can easily access key contact information for these customers, allowing you to reach the right decision-makers at the perfect moment.

Now, with our new Connected Lists feature and Website Visitors filter, this process is fully automated. Say goodbye to manual updates—your lists refresh daily, giving you instant access to up-to-date contact info for new companies with zero effort.

Step 1: Create a Custom Feed

Custom feeds in Web Visitors allow users to create customised segmentation of site visitors based on their online behaviour, demographics, or other essential data.

For example, you can create a custom feed which only shows companies that have visited your pricing page.

To create a custom feed, follow the instructions in this article.

Step 2: Creating a Connected List from a Custom Feed

Now that you have a Custom Feed, create a Connected List from a custom feed. These dynamic lists automatically update with companies that meet specific criteria set in your Web Visitors feed.

With Connected Lists, companies that appear in your custom feed are automatically added, while irrelevant ones are removed—keeping your lists clean and up to date.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Navigate to your Web Visitors custom feed.

  2. Select "Create Connected List" from the menu.

  3. Customise your criteria to ensure only the most relevant companies make the cut.

You can find the complete instructions with screenshots here.

Step 3: Refine your search with the Website Visitors filter

Once your Connected List is in place, you can further fine-tune your results in Target with the Website Visitors filter.

What is the Website Visitors Filter?

The Website Visitors filter allows you to instantly refine your search by using Connected Lists. With just a few clicks, you can effortlessly narrow down your list to focus on the companies that match the filters in your Connected List.

How Does It Work?

By applying this filter, you can quickly identify brand-aware companies—those who have visited your site—and prioritise them in your outreach. This ensures that your efforts are focused on leads most likely to convert, saving you time while boosting your sales performance.

Step 4: Never Miss a High-Intent Customer with Instant Notifications

Want to stay ahead of your high-intent leads? Set up instant email or Slack notifications the moment a website visitor is identified in Web Visitors.

Setting this up is simple. Just navigate to your custom feed, and choose your preferred options:

Hit the ‘Subscribe’ button to receive notifications, ensuring you're always in the loop when potential customers are showing interest. Set these to daily or weekly based on your needs.

OR

Streamline your workflow by setting up automation to send leads directly to your email or Slack in real-time.

In your custom feed, simply go to ‘Actions’ and click the ‘Create Automation’ button.

From there, you can choose to send notifications to your email, Slack, or CRM, and

customise how often you receive them. Stay instantly connected to your most important leads without lifting a finger.
