Integrating Leadfeeder with Mailchimp enables you to see exactly who has visited your website, from your email marketing campaigns. You will see this information in the Web Visitors app. This connection provides a GDPR-friendly way to uncover real people on your website so you know who's interested in your company, and what to say to them.
By connecting Mailchimp with Leadfeeder you give consent that the two systems can exchange data. Your Mailchimp account is maintained by you and contains individual names and email addresses already. We receive the data from Mailchimp and match it with the website visits tracked in Web Visitors. We are therefore only able to identify the names and emails of the individuals who have interacted with your email marketing campaigns that come directly from the email marketing system you have integrated.
How Do I Connect Mailchimp with Leadfeeder?
Please note: To be able to integrate Mailchimp with Leadfeeder, you need to have either admin or owner permissions in Mailchimp.
STEP 1: Navigate to your User settings from the bottom left corner of the Leadfeeder menu bar.
STEP 2: Click on the Account tab and then select Overview under the Integrations heading. You will see all the integrations available to you. Click Mailchimp.
STEP 3: You will be taken to our integrations page. Follow the instructions from there to complete your integration.
When you click continue you will be invited to Authorize Leadfeeder. Please click Allow to continue.
STEP 4: Next, you will see this screen as Leadfeeder loads your data.
Once complete, you will see the following screen, with options to remove the integration, sync or reconnect.
Please Note: You have to turn on Google Analytics integration in Mailchimp for the tracking to work - our helpful guide will show you how.
You can also customize your integration setup if you wish.
While the integration is loading, you can head Back to Leadfeeder and continue whatever you were doing. Check this article to see what to do once the integration is all set up.
Please Note: If you use both Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign, you can integrate both of them with Leadfeeder at the same time, here's how to do so.
