Even better news — Leadfeeder automations are pretty easy to set up. Whether you want to automatically send qualified leads to your Slack channel or create a new organization in Pipedrive, you can do it all with Leadfeeder automations.

This guide will walk you through what automations Leadfeeder offers, what they do, and how to set them up.

💡 What types of automations does Leadfeeder offer?

Automations allow users to streamline their sales workflow and integrate Leadfeeder data with their CRM, email marketing, and messaging apps like Slack.

Here are the type of automations available in Leadfeeder:

Email notifications: Adjust how the frequency and type of email notifications.

Slack: Send leads to specific Slack channels.

Salesforce: Send leads, create accounts, and more — all automatically.

Hubspot: Automatically send new leads right to your CRM.

Zoho: This easy to use CRM just got better — send leads and customize where those leads end up.

Pipedrive: Send new leads to your CRM, create new organizations and more.

Microsoft Dynamics 365: Send new leads and adjust what Dynamics 365 does with them when they get there!

🤔 How to automate email notifications

In Leadfeeder, email notifications send you notifications when a company that fits specific parameters visits your site.

The most common notifications are weekly or daily summaries, which provide a high-level view of who visited your website.

However, you can also adjust notifications for custom feeds you've created. Here's how.

Step 1: Log in to Leadfeeder and click your name in the upper right corner, then select Your Settings.

Step 2: In the Personal settings tab, select Email Notifications.

Step 3: Adjust email settings.

Here, you can adjust Weekly and Daily email summaries, and adjust feed notifications.

For example, if you want to receive a daily notification when a visitor lands on your website from a specific campaign, select Daily notifications for that campaign.

Pro tip: You can create an email notification when you are creating a new custom feed.

👉 How to set up Slack automation

Slack automation allows users to automatically send matching leads to a Slack channel. For example, you could automatically send leads from Germany to your Germany sales slack channel. This ensures leads don't fall through the cracks!

Here's how to set up Slack automation:

Step 1: Integrate Slack with Leadfeeder.

Log in to Leadfeeder, then click your name in the upper right corner of your dashboard.

Select Integrations from the drop-down menu.

Beneath integrations, select Slack and follow the steps provided.

Step 2: Send leads to Slack with automation

Once the integration is complete, create a custom feed for the type of leads you want to send to a specific Slack channel.

Under Action, select Send to Slack, choose the Slack channel, and adjust the frequency leads are sent.

Leadfeeder will now send a Slack message to your chosen channel. You can choose to have messages sent daily, weekly, or right away.

👉🏻 How to set up Salesforce automation

Salesforce automation allows Leadfeeder users to automatically send specific leads to Salesforce. This means sales and marketing will always be on the same page, and you won't have to search for leads in Leadfeeder — they'll be right where you need them in Salesforce.

This is a great way to streamline your workflow and make sure your team is always on top of new, quality leads. Here's how to do it.

Step 1: Set up Salesforce integration.

If you haven't already, you'll need to set up Salesforce integration. You may have completed this step when you created your Leadfeeder account, if not here's how to do it.

Step 2: Set up Salesforce automation.

Once you've integrated Salesforce with Leadfeeder, you can set up automation by creating a custom feed and using automation to send those leads to Salesforce.

Create a custom feed, then choose to Send to Salesforce under Action. You can adjust the frequency here as well.

Then click the Automation tab:

Now you can choose to send new leads as accounts, opportunities, or create a task. You can also select who gets assigned those leads in Salesforce.

Step 3: Choose if you want automation to create a new account or opportunity.

Step 4: Choose whether the lead creates a new task and what type of task it creates.

👉🏼 How to set up HubSpot automation

HubSpot automations allow you to send leads that meet defined parameters to your CRM. This means you don't have to manually enter new leads from Leadfeeder — they'll automatically show up so your sales team can start working them faster. You can also send a ton of information to Hubspot about leads.

Here's how to set up automation in Hubspot:

Step 1: Integrate Hubspot.

Before you can set up automations, make sure you've integrated HubSpot and Leadfeeder.

You may have done this during the onboarding process, otherwise follow these steps. (Don't worry; it'll only take a few minutes!)

Step 2: Create a new custom feed.

Next, define what types of leads you want to send to HubSpot by creating a new custom feed.

From your Leadfeeder dashboard, select + Create custom feed.

Then set your feed filters to define which leads you want to be sent to HubSpot. These can be based on Behavior, Acquisition, Company info, and more.

Step 3: Set Action to Send to HubSpot CRM.

After adding filters to your feed, click the Automation tab.

You can also adjust how often you want leads sent to HubSpot via Frequency.

Step 4: Define if you want to create a new company

Next, decide if you want to create a new company for new leads.

Step 5: Decide if you want to create a new deal.

You can also choose to create a new deal, select a CRM user as the owner, and place it in a pipeline or stage within HubSpot.

If you choose not to create a new deal, Leadfeeder will only create new tasks for existing deals.

Step 6: Choose whether or not to create a new task

Finally, select if you want to create a new task. The options here are dependent on your selections in the previous two steps.

You are done! Make sure to hit Apply, then Add Automation, and Save to save your preferences.
