Instead of sending leads to your Salesforce manually, you can create a custom feed and set up automation to get matching leads to your CRM automatically.
Send to Salesforce
This action relates to three Salesforce records: account, opportunity and a task both in an account and lead level.
Get started by choosing Action to be Send to Salesforce and click Configure.
Choose then whether Leadfeeder should send leads to Salesforce as accounts or leads.
You can use variables [company_name] (name of the Leadfeeder lead) and [account_name] (name of the Leadfeeder lead) when sending Leadfeeder leads to your Salesforce CRM with our automation.
Send leads to Salesforce as accounts
Accounts
In the first stage, you define if you want the automation to create a new account for the given Leadfeeder lead that matches to your custom feed criteria.
If unselected, the automation will only take into account the leads already connected to an account within your CRM when creating a new opportunity or a task.
Opportunity
In the next phase, you'll decide if you want to create a new opportunity for the account that Leadfeeder lead is connected to (or just newly created, if you chose to have the toggle on in the previous step).
If unselected, we will take only existing opportunities into account when creating the task.
Task
In the final phase, you choose whether you want to create a task. Please notice that your choices in this section are dependent upon your choices in the prior section. Your results here are dependent on whether you selected to create a new account and an opportunity, or you chose only to take into account existing accounts and opportunities.
In the example below, the user didn't choose to create a new account but wanted the automation to create a new opportunity.
After you have set up the wanted rules, click Apply, then Add automation and finally Save.
NOTE: Please note that the automation will only process every lead once, please consider this when setting up automation for tasks.
Send leads to Salesforce as leads
Lead
In the first stage, you define if you want the automation to create a new lead for the given Leadfeeder lead that matches to your custom feed criteria.
If unselected, the automation will only take into account the leads already connected to a lead within your CRM when creating a task.
Task
In the next phase, you'll decide if you want to create a new task for the lead that Leadfeeder lead is connected to (or just newly created, if you chose to have the toggle on in the previous step).
NOTE: Please note that the automation will only process every lead once, please consider this when setting up automation for tasks.
After you have set up the wanted rules, click Apply, then Add automation and finally Save.
This automation will now send matching leads from your custom feed to your CRM automatically.
Note: When using automation to create opportunities, accounts or leads each Leadfeeder lead identified in the custom feed will prompt the chosen automation. This means that if one company is shown as a lead several times due to multiple locations the automation will create these as unique opportunities, accounts, or leads. Different locations are seen as unique companies by Leadfeeder but may appear as duplicates in your CRM.
Please note that each lead will be processed by "send to CRM" automation only once. That means if you have leads showing up in multiple custom feeds, only one of them will be processed. However, no ranking of custom feeds is possible to decide which automation will go first.
