Connect LinkedIn to Leadfeeder

Connect your LinkedIn Ads account to Leadfeeder to sync Lists as LinkedIn Matched Audiences. Learn required permissions, how to connect, reconnect, or disconnect, and what happens when list changes are pushed to LinkedIn.

The LinkedIn integration allows you to connect your LinkedIn Ads account to Leadfeeder. Once connected, you can use your Lists to create LinkedIn audiences based on your target companies.

When companies are added to or removed from a List, Leadfeeder pushes those changes to LinkedIn, where they are matched against LinkedIn company data to build and update the audience.


Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • A LinkedIn account with access to Campaign Manager

  • Permission to manage audiences in a LinkedIn Ad Account

  • Access to Leadfeeder with permission to manage integrations

You must have the appropriate permissions in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

At minimum, your user should be an Account Manager or Admin of the LinkedIn Ad Account you want to connect.


Connect LinkedIn

  1. Go to Settings in Leadfeeder

  2. Open Integrations

  3. Find LinkedIn

  4. Click Connect

  5. Sign in to your LinkedIn account

  6. Accept the requested permissions

During this step, Leadfeeder will request permission to:

  • Read data from your LinkedIn Ad Accounts

  • Create and update Matched Audiences used for syncing Lists

Leadfeeder uses these permissions only to:

  • Send company data from your Lists to LinkedIn

  • Push updates when your Lists change

LinkedIn then matches the provided company data against its own database to build and update the Matched Audience.

No other data in your LinkedIn account is modified.

After connecting, Leadfeeder will fetch the LinkedIn Ad Accounts available to your user.


Next steps

After connecting to LinkedIn, you can proceed to syncing your Lists with LinkedIn audiences.

You will be asked to select a LinkedIn Ad Account when setting up the sync.


Reconnect LinkedIn

If your LinkedIn connection is not working as expected, you may need to reconnect your account.

This can happen if:

  • Your connection has expired

  • Your LinkedIn permissions have changed

  • You no longer have access to the selected Ad Account

  • The integration was disconnected

To reconnect:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Integrations

  2. Find LinkedIn

  3. Click Reconnect

  4. Sign in to your LinkedIn account

  5. Confirm the requested permissions

Reconnecting restores access and allows Leadfeeder to continue sending updates to LinkedIn.


Disconnect LinkedIn

To remove the integration:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Integrations

  2. Find LinkedIn

  3. Click Disconnect

Disconnecting will stop any active syncing between Leadfeeder and LinkedIn audiences.

Any existing LinkedIn audiences will remain in their current state and will no longer be updated by Leadfeeder.


Notes

  • You must connect LinkedIn before syncing Lists to audiences

  • This is a one-way integration from Leadfeeder to LinkedIn

  • Changes in your Lists (adding or removing companies) are pushed to LinkedIn to update the corresponding audience

  • Your LinkedIn account must have access to at least one Ad Account

  • Permissions are managed in LinkedIn Campaign Manager

  • If access to an Ad Account is removed, it will no longer be available in Leadfeeder


Next steps

After connecting LinkedIn, you can proceed to syncing your Lists with LinkedIn audiences.

During this process, you will:

  • Choose a LinkedIn Ad Account

  • Select a Leadfeeder List

  • Create a new LinkedIn audience to be synced with the selected List.
