In Leadfeeder, you can create custom feeds to filter identified companies based on different criteria. Custom feed folders are a way of organising your feeds. Each feed belongs to a folder to help you organise your account better.

Default Folders

We provide a set of default folders that you may see depending on your account setup. These folders will appear even if you don't use that particular feature of Leadfeeder, you can delete them if not required (please note: the Basic folder cannot be deleted).

If you do go on to add a feature in the future (e.g integrate your CRM) but have deleted the folder, that folder will be automatically re-added.

Custom Feed Folders

Leadfeeder also allows you to create custom folders and move multiple relevant feeds between folders to organise your custom feeds better. For example, you can create feed folders based on various grouping factors, such as by sales person, location or industry.

Custom feed folders are visible to all users of your account who have access to at least one feed in the folder. Empty folders are visible to all users. To learn more about feed and folder access rights, click here.

Creating Feed Folders

You can create a feed folder by using the custom feed editor. While creating or editing a custom feed, you will find a dropdown that can be used to place the feed into an existing folder, or create a new one.

To create a feed folder, follow these steps:

STEP 1: Create a custom feed or edit an existing one - you'll find more detail about how to do this here.

STEP 2: Click on the 'Feed folder' dropdown. You will find the option to create a new folder.

STEP 3: Enter folder name. You can not use the name of a folder that already exists.

STEP 4: Click on the Create folder button.

Moving Feeds Across Folders

To move a feed to another folder, follow these steps:

STEP 2: Click on the 'Feed folder' dropdown. You will find the list of all existing folders - to move the feed, choose an existing folder or create a new one.

STEP 3: Select the folder you want to move the feed to and hit the Save feed button.

Edit or Delete Folders

To edit folder or delete it, follow these steps:

STEP 1: Hover on the folder you’d like to edit/delete. You will find the edit icon next to the folder name. Click on the edit icon.

STEP 2: From here you can either edit the folder name by typing in a new one, or delete the folder by clicking on the Delete folder button.

STEP 3: Click on the Delete button in the confirmation to permanently delete the folder for all users. All feeds present in the folders will be moved to the default 'Custom' folder.

Please note: Deleting a folder will never delete the feeds in it.
