Leadfeeder shows you which companies visit your site — but that isn't all we do! We also offer several integrations and automation features to make your workflow work for you.

One of our most-used integrations is with Slack, the popular messaging app. Integrating with Slack allows you to automatically send leads to specific Slack channels.

For example, you could set up an automation to send new leads that are visiting your website from Germany with more than 500 employees to your German sales team's Slack channel — just minutes after the company visited your site!

The Slack integration also lets you:

✅ Send leads to public and private Slack channels.

✅ Get notification in Slack when leads in your Custom Feeds visit your site.

✅ Filter leads by "Send to Slack Manually."

✅ Get tagged in Slack when a lead is assigned to you in Leadfeeder (Which means fewer platforms to check, woot!)

Here's how to connect Leadfeeder and Slack so you can do more.

🚩 How to connect your Leadfeeder dashboard to Slack

To use the Leadfeeder Slack integration feature, you must be a Leadfeeder Premium or Trial user. (You'll miss out on this and several other useful features with the Lite Leadfeeder plan!)

Pro tip: You must be an admin of Leadfeeder to connect with Slack.

Once you're sure you have the correct plan, setting up the integration requires just a few steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Leadfeeder account

Click on your name in the upper right corner of your Leadfeeder dashboard and select "Integrations for <your website name>."

Note: If you have several websites connected to Leadfeeder, make sure you select the right website first!

Step 2: Go to Account setting details

There are three tabs on the settings page. Select the "Account" tab. (Selecting integrations in the step above should take you there automatically.)

Step 3: Select integrations "Overview" from the menu on the left.

Then select Slack from the list of available integrations.

Note: You must have admin access to your Leadfeeder account to add integrations.

Step 4: Select Add to Slack

Click the "Add to Slack" button.

Then, authorize the Leadfeeder to access your Slack account.

Check your Slack integration connection status to ensure everything is working properly.

Step 5: Set up notification settings for Leadfeeder and Slack

Once you've integrated Slack, you can now adjust settings for what happens in Slack, including getting tagged when a lead is assigned to you.

To do this, head to the Account Settings tab, where you added the integration. Now that you've connected Slack and Leadfeeder, you will see Slack listed under "Integrations."

Select Slack from the list of integrations.

Now you can see all the settings!

Define the default channel you want to send leads to, and check the box next to "Send notification to Slack when assigning leads."

You can also turn off the feature when someone assigns a lead to themselves.

Now, users will get a notification in Slack when a lead is assigned to them!

Pro tip: You can send leads to a private Slack channel as well.

As you can see, Leadfeeder does a ton more than just tell you who visits your site — it can also help you work more efficiently.
