Once you've connected Dealfront to Pipedrive, it's very quick and simple to connect identified companies to Pipedrive as often as you like. You can also create new Pipedrive deals from inside Leadfeeder.

It is recommended to link as many relevant companies as possible to Pipedrive, because Leadfeeder automatically creates a new note for that organisation in Pipedrive every time the company re-visits your website.

Quick Links:

Connect a Company to Pipedrive Manually

STEP 1: When you see a company of interest in Leadfeeder, click to connect this as an Organization or Lead, depending on your preference.

See STEP 2a for connecting as an Organization and STEP 2b for connecting as a Lead.

STEP 2a: If you want to connect a Leadfeeder identified company to a Pipedrive Organization, you can either choose to Create a new organization in Pipedrive or Connect to an existing organization. When sending a Leadfeeder company as an Organization, you can also send existing visits to Pipedrive as notes. You can also choose the owner.

Once the Organization is connected you can create a New deal, New activity or New lead in the Leadfeeder interface.

STEP 2b: If you want to connect a Leadfeeder company to Pipedrive as a Lead, you can either choose to Create a new lead in Pipedrive or Connect to an existing lead..

To create a new Lead, you will need to select an Owner, and either Organization or Contact, or both. You are also able to create a new Organization or Contact directly from this interface by simply typing a name that doesn’t currently exist.

Connect a Company to Pipedrive with Automation

Instead of sending companies to Pipedrive manually, you can create a custom feed and set up automation to matching companies to your CRM automatically.

This automation relates to four Pipedrive records: organizations, leads, deals, and activities.

STEP 1: Get started in a custom feed by choosing you automation Action to be Send to Pipedrive, then click Configure.

STEP 2: In the next stage, you define if you want the automation to create a new Organization or Lead in Pipedrive for the given Leadfeeder company that matches your custom feed criteria.

Organization

If you select to send Leadfeeder companies to your Pipedrive as an Organization, you can choose if a new Organization will be created.

If unselected, the automation will only take into account the companies already connected to an Organization within your CRM when creating a new deal or an activity.

Deal

In the next phase, you'll decide if you want to create a new deal for the Organization that Leadfeeder company is connected to (or just newly created, if you chose to have the toggle on in the previous step).

If unselected, we will take only existing deals into account when creating the activity.

Activity

In the final phase, you choose whether you want to create activity.

Please notice that the choices in this section are dependent on your earlier selection of creating a new Organization and a deal or alternatively choosing to only take into account existing Organization and deals.

In the example below, the user didn't choose to create a new Organization but wanted the automation to create a new deal.

Leads
If you prefer sending Leadfeeder companies to your CRM as leads, you need to choose the owner and set up the default Lead contact name.

Leads created via automation must be linked to Pipedrive Organizations, so you will also need to define how the possible new Pipedrive Organization will be named and the owner of the Organization.

If an Organization with this name already exists, it will be used to avoid duplicate Organizations in your CRM.

STEP 3: After you have set up the necessary rules, click Apply, then Add automation, and finally Save Feed.

This automation will now send matching companies from your custom feed to your CRM automatically.

Please note: Different locations are seen as unique companies by Leadfeeder. When using automation to create Organizations, each Leadfeeder company identified in the custom feed will prompt the chosen automation. This means that if one company is shown as an identified company several times due to multiple locations, the automation will create these as unique Organizations.

Duplicates may also occur in the case of having automations set in feeds where a single company may meet the criteria for several feeds. For example, if one custom feed looks for companies in the US and another custom feed looks for companies in the print industry, a company that visits and is in the US and the print industry may appear in BOTH custom feeds. If automations are set up for BOTH of those feeds a duplicate may be created in your CRM

Notes in Pipedrive

Connecting an identified company in Leadfeeder to an existing Organization (or new Organization) in Pipedrive means that whenever that company re-visits your website the details of their visit will show up in Pipedrive automatically.

The screenshot below shows how Dealfront automatically creates a note in Pipedrive after a company re-visits your website. Dealfront will automatically create a note in Pipedrive with all the company's history visits after the user initially connects it to Pipedrive.

You can also find a link to Leadfeeder as a custom field where you can see all the information related to this organisation back in the Leadfeeder interface.

If you have a Deal for that Organization you will automatically see the visit note in both Deal and Organization.
