Leadfeeder Booster is a complimentary tracking script for Google Analytics that will enable you to get better insight about your leads faster.
Here's what you need to set up Leadfeeder Booster:
- Full access in Leadfeeder
- Edit Permission in your Google Analytics account
- Access to the modify your website's source code
Here's how to get started:
STEP 1: Click your name on the upper right corner and select Your settings from the menu.
STEP 2: Select tab Company and click Leadfeeder Booster from the menu on the left side.
STEP 3: Define the dimension by clicking Grant access.
STEP 4: Activate the Booster on a particular property and click Show Booster script.
STEP 5: Add tracking script to your website. The same tracking script can be used for all websites/domains that are under the same company in Leadfeeder.
NOTE: The Booster script has to be set up for ALL of your pages. Typically, you can just paste the script once into the partial or template file where your script tags are or where the body section of your site is. You will notice that we share a message of "Please copy and paste the following snippet in the bottom of your website above the closing body tag" when displaying the Booster script.
In very rare cases, your website was built entirely on static pages. In this case, you'd have to paste the script onto every page.
Please refer to your web developer to properly add the Booster script so that it monitors all of your pages. If you are using Wordpress, read here how to add the script by using plugin.
If you're using Google Tag Manager for tracking, please follow these steps to add the script to GTM:
STEP 1: Go to TagManager Console.
STEP 2: Go to Tags.
STEP 3: Click New.
STEP 4: Click Custom HTML.
STEP 5: Copy-paste the Booster script.
STEP 6: Add the same trigger as you would for a GA script.
STEP 6: Hold tight and wait for the next update (typically around 24 hours). Booster is installed once all four steps are completed successfully. You need to wait until the next update to see the Booster results, but you can check the status in the settings as well. Booster is set up correctly when the status of the Google Analytics property is OK.
